Mighty Joe Young [9] -1998-

Get ready for Joe Piscopo to make another round of the talk show circuit. He does a great imitation of the original animated black and white _Mighty Joe Young_. We have better visual technology in 1998, but does the story get any better? In my opinion, No. Save your dollars and watch this one on the Sci-Fi Channel(tm) in 5 years. I don't really think that moviegoers really come out in droves to see large-sized apes. You need a REALLY BIG ape such as King Kong. That was my problem with the original movie. Mighty Joe Young was more of a nuisance, instead of a real gigantic threat to the welfare of mankind. [BB]
