Nothing to Lose [18]

Tim Robbins and Martin Lawerance. Hmmmm. Mis-matched buddy film. Hmmm. But, ya know, this time it might work. Robbins is a great actor and Lawerence - if he can stay stable - has a viable shot at movie comedy stardom. (The emphasis is on stable, must remain stable. 10:1 he torpedoes his own career.) Robbins plays a very despressed man (he just found his wife in bed with another man), who is subject to robbery by Lawerence. The kick is, since he doesn't care - he locks Lawerence in the car with him and proceeds to drive like a crazy man. The film takes off from there. Have a good feeling about this one. Go check it out. Should be a quasi-good date film. But don't pay full price. {AB}
