    People vs. Larry Flynt, The [14]

    Expectation Reviews
    What does one do about a depraved publisher when he is fighting for the basic right of free speech? How far does one throw the First Amendment blanket, and does ANY limitations curtail the objective of the framers of the constitution? Heady stuff for political bickering around the kitchen table, much less a movie review web page.

    I've read the story about Larry’s battles with the courts. I’ve have my own strong beliefs about Free Speech (why else would I be posting a web page plastered about with my thoughts.) But I am not sure if Woody Harrelson is the man to portray Larry Flint. Can Milos Forman pull off the quantum conundrum? Expose the fight for free speech and the strength of a man’s convictions to publish his magazine and at the same time not glamorize his product? Tough stuff. My guess is that they will go for the cheeze and not the substance. And Larry, if you are listening, thanks for the effort in court - but I will continue to invoke my right not to read your stuff. You may do the same. {AB}
