Jurassic Park [24]

Of the top 20 movies in the Boxofficemojo.com all time top grossing film list, this is the only one I have never seen, and one of only three that I do not own on DVD. Why not? I have read many other books by Michael Crighton. I certainly like the concept. I like monster movies. I like movies directed by Steven Spielberg. I like Jeff Goldblum. My take is that since I missed the opportunity to see it when it was hot, why bother now. Unfortunately, when you fail to see a popular movie, you miss out on gags later. For example, in Toy Story 2 there is a scene where Rex the dinosaur is running behind the little tykes car trying to catch up with the other toys. He is visible in the rear view mirror.

If they had the ability, scientists certainly would try to recreate extinct life forms by using DNA. And it could have severe consequences. Some day I will catch up with this series. Hopefully I will do it before Jurassic Park V comes out in 2008. {BB}
