    Expectation Reviews
    This movie gets expected points off for Scarlett Johansen not seeming to know what to do or how to act as Black Widow. Did anyone give her a Black Widow comic book to glance over prior to showing up on set? Too bad too because she is drop-dead gorgeous! But eye candy does not make for great acting, just try watching Megan Fox act. Can you remember/recite any of her lines? No, I did not think so.

    Also more expected points off for Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) not wearing the trademark purple face mask. And Jeremy Renner...really? Jack Black was not available? Seriously, Jason Statham or Channing Tatum or even Jackie Chan would bring more gravitas.

    I also have a problem with changing a character just for the sake of "politically correct diversity" and audience appeal. To me, Nick Fury is NOT Samuel L. Jackson. Sorry. Great Actor? You bet! Intensity needed for Nick Fury? Most certainly. But, unless the character of Nick Fury is really just a "code-named persona" and NOT a real person at all like "Felix Leiter" or "James Bond 007", I have a hard time watching Samuel L Jackson play Nick Fury. It is as wrong to me as the casting of Sir Anthony Hopkins would be in playing the tile role of a Dr. Martin Luther King biography. It is rewriting history. And that feels wrong. Unless you are Katee Sackhoff and playing Starbuck, it is a very hard thing to pull off convincingly. Harrison Ford would be a more accurate portrayal of the man appearing on the covers of my Avengers/Nick Fury Agent of SHIELD comic books...

    I expect Josh Whedon to do the series justice with him both writing and directing. Too bad they could not bring back Eric Bannas portrayal of Bruce Banner/Hulk. It will not be the highest grossing summer hit (I leave that to Battleship), but it will be a must see!! {JB}
