Dante's Peak [6]

This is the first in a long line of disaster movies to be released this year. The ones released to get a jump on the competition, but the Christmas disaster movies are already being pulled from the theaters (Daylight and Turbulence). I don't know about you, but I can only watch so many disaster films. Twister and ID4 were great because you didn't have to invest into the characters. You could just sit back and enjoy the ride. This seems to be trying to make me care that these people live near a frightful (yet dormant) volcano.

Come on, people! Didn't you see Mt. Saint Helens? Ka-blooey! Poof, no more trees, animals and campers. (The four wheel kind :]). Sorry. This will be one more in a long line of dogs this year. Wait for the video, not stop that - don't bother with the video. {AB}
