Absolute Power [23]

Expectation Reviews   
I haven't read the book, but from what I understand its a "taunt thriller". That means that everyone dies in the end. Since Clint Eastwood is starring in it and since this IS Hollywood, that won't happen. But I like the plot device. Professional thief sees President boink lady other than wife - then sees Sercret Service kill her. What's an honest criminal to do? The question is: Would this book have been written in the Reagan Era? (O.K. Professional thief sees Nancy boink man other than husband and then sees Sinatra kill him.) Eastwood has been on a roll (not counting Bridges), go check it out. [AB]
