Pirates of the Spanish Main is a Constructiable Strategy Game from WizKids Games.

    http://www.wizkidsgames.com/pirates/

This seems to be hit hit with some of our 40K playing editors.

Players construct a fleet of ships by popping out the small polystyrene(safe styrene) pieces from their placeholder cards and connecting the pieces together. The cards are the size of baseball cards and contain the statistics for the ships. Ships have a point value, and a number of masts which denote how many hits they can take and give.

Like many tabletop turn based war games, there is a significant amount of measuring and dice rolling.
