The Start Page News Channel is the RSS feed that displays. You could put anything in there too, like the Group29 RSS feed http://www.group29.com/backend.php Project List on the start page You can delete links to recent projects menu on the start page of Visual Studio 2008. The list is stored in the registry under: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\ProjectMRUList Delete the entries you do not want. For Visual Studio 2005, substitute 8.0 for 9.0 in the registry path.
