This single-player demo for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War lets you play the a full early campaign level of the Space Marines. In addition it also contains 2 skirmish maps, and a tutorial.

Here are some tips from one of our Warhammer players:

Check out the Warhammer 40K:Dawn of War Demo
    http://gamedaily.com/gp/dlexe.asp?packageid=0079300257&gameid=&source=00069

if not you can find it in http://megagames.com, click on the Tribes vengeance demo link, and dawn of war is in the next page.

"I think this game is pretty hard on computers. It auto set my computer at mostly low visual settings. Putting most up one didn't seem to cause much of a slow down however."

    "...the demo is AWESOME.
(the) Game actually seems harder than a regular 40K game (and damn if the demo doesn't get me wanting to play Marines...or even orks 'cause the graphics are fun - even the opening movie is cool)....And for those of us who are not world class painters...there's a section for testing out paint schemes ('bout freakin' time!)"

"I downloaded the demo and (cannott) wait for the full version of the game. The graphics are outstanding ...the army painter may be a valuable tool to most"
