I saw two minutes of this and thought, "great for 4 year olds... I have seen enough." The main characters of the new Fox network television show Viva Piñata are all colorful, yet kooky Piñatas. They await their lucky day to get selected by the Piñata factory and leave Piñata Island to be used at a party.

Within seconds, I was thinking of the 2005 Sci Fi movie, The Island.

In 2019, when most of the outside world has been contaminated, a community of people, apparently rescued from the toxic environment, live by utopian standards in an isolated colony. The rules of living are selected for them; clothing, meals, leisure, and jobs are all structured and controlled. Everyone in the community anticipates a special event, the lottery, in which one person wins a chance to move to a paradise, the only uncontaminated area left on Earth, known as "The Island."

In that movie, the residents of the community are clones whose ultimate fate is to provide spare body parts for their original sponsors.

Obviously this show is being used to promote the Microsoft XBox 360 game of the same name.

In this episode, the characters all have a cold which causes them to sneeze out their candy. The main character, Fergy Fudgehog greedily snorts up and eats all the candy (mucus). MMMM.
