I would like to know how long it has been since a Windows system was booted. In UNIX land there is an "uptime" command
Directions -
Using the following command at the Windows cmd window (Command Prompt) will show the uptime of the system as well as other information:
Code:
net statistics workstation
Look for the up time as the first line:
Code:
Statistics since MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm
A file called uptime.exe shipped with the Windows NT and Windows 2000 resource kits. However it is not on the Windows 2003 base install or resource kit.
It does work with Windows 2003 and XP. It is available for download from Microsoft.
