Antz [23]

This is not your fathers bug movie. Its your fathers Woody Allen movie. If youve ever seen Bananas or Sleeper (if not, go see them), this is the Woody Allen of olde. Interestingly this movie is very dark. It works well with the simplistic plot. (How many different meglomaniac, purge-the-race-of-inferiors, start a new life wackos can you really write? What are we going to do if someone actually reads and FOLLOWS the directions outlined in the Evil Overlord Rules (see the FAQ)?

Even with a few strikes against it, this movie is visually spectacular, the writing witty and the movie moves briskly. (Gwad sounds like a wine tasting review.) You'll enjoy it. Your date will enjoy it and all but the "really" little kids will enjoy it.

I guess the real question is: Can you be a worker bee and still be an individual? {AB}
