Titanic [22] -1997-

This movie was 3 hours and 15 minutes long with no intermission! I think that the director, James Cameron, actually wanted the audience to feel like they actually lived through the entire disaster. I liked the movie and I didn't fall asleep, although some of the scenes where a little long and tiresome.

The movie features a poor boy, Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio), who wins passage on the Titanic in a poker game, then falls in love with the aristocratic, soon-to-be-wed, Rose (Kate Winslet). Of course, none of Rose's family or friends wants that to happen, so Jack and Rose spends the entire trip sneaking around to fool around.

But this movie is about the Titanic disaster. The collision with the iceberg, as well as the sinking scene is truly awesome. [GV]
