    Tomorrow Never Dies [23]

    Movie Reviews

There was plenty of action and excitement in this latest James Bond film. There are great location shots of Saigon and Hamburg. The title animation was right on the cutting edge. Even with Pierce Brosnan in the lead role, the movie rates as one of my favorite Bond films of all time. Brosnan is finally getting stern enough to play a man who gets paid to kill people for his country. In his bid to take over the world media, the combination Ted Turner/Bill Gates runs afoul of Her Majesty's Secret Service. The lesson learned here is: Never sink a British naval vessel. Also, don't depend on your Global Satellite Positioning system. Keep up the good work Broccoli family. Even if the 50's and 60's era Bond can no longer fight the communists and guard nuclear secrets, we still need him to violently dispose of psychotic enemies of society. [BB]
