Highlander [20]

I always like Sean Connery in anything, so it was not too difficult to get talked into seeing this movie. Although Christopher Lambert never really gets into the role of being the most powerful being on Earth. He just seems propelled into the role. (Some immortals are born to greatness, some have greatness thrust upon them......)

The Kurgan is sufficiently hammy to enjoy. But why doesn't Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez (Connery) win out? He seems more suited to the role of final immortal.

The movie really leaves a bunch of unanswered questions. Why were they immortal? Who set the rules of engagement? What was the ultimate goal? Why were the immortals spread accross the countryside, one to a tribe? Why are Kurgans fighting Highlanders?

It would make a good comic book series {BB}
