The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey [27]

    Movie Reviews

Hello old friends, it has been a long time. I missed you dearly. Why have we waited so long to get together again? I truly look forward to spending the next three years together on this adventure. I still look back on the previous ones with fondness.

Blibo and Frodo, you both are looking as if you have not aged a day. Gandalf, you are a sight for sore eyes. Who is your friend? Radagast, pleased to meet you. I like your bunny sled, faster than a speeding warg.

We do not really get a good look at Smaug the dragon yet. The greatest of calamaties will appear in the next movie. We have whole host of antagonists. The Necromancer lurks in Mirkwood, bringing some ringwraiths with Morgul blades. An orc named Azog is running around with his wolf pack gang, looking for Dwarves. The Great Gobilin (Dame Edna) is in the mountains.

Saruman the White even appears as an antagonist. He is the most evil of all of them just by his blocking of action. One wonders if Galadriel actually appeared at the council with Saruman and Elrond, or if she just communicates with Elrond and Gandalf through telepathy. Perhaps this is something that the possesers of the three rings may do.
