    Bug's Life, A [27]

    Movie Reviews

    This movie has absolutely no relationship with Antz. With the exception that they are Computer Animated Ants that have their colony threatend and fight to save it, with a slightly misguided and possibly inept 'hero' and the 'frustrated with royal life' but beautiful Princess - who comes to realize that this 'worker' is the Ant of her dreams. Outside of that, these movies are completely different.

    This movie shows why Pixar is a huge threat to the Disney Dynasty - accept that they are sleeping with them. Pixar hits all the right notes with this movie; definitely a kid favorite. (McDonald's is going to be a ton happier than Taco Bell was with Godzilla.)

    While I did not bust a gut laughing, my cheeks were quite sore from grinning through out the whole movie. The inside, outside, upside down jokes that rained down through out the whole movie was a proverbial Noah's flood of humor. The computer animation was terrific.

    Go see this now. You won't need a kid. Hell you won't need a date. Its that good. {AB}
