K2 [19]

K-2 is another of those smallish movies that were under rated by most of the other so called critics. This movie pits Taylor Brooks (Michael Been: Terminator, Aliens) and Harold Jamison (Matt Craven) against one of the toughest mountains on earth. Based upon a true story, the movie follows the exploits of Brooks and Jamison as they attempt to conquer the mountain. Written well, acted well and with amazing cinematography and music, the movie tells a compelling story. As the pair test the physical boundries of climbing, they also test the bounds of loyalty to each other and ultimately, themselves. If you've got a spare evening coming up, I highly recomend this small picture. {SD}
