     Interstate Highway system 50th birthday!

    On June29th, the United States Interstate Highway System reached a major milestone, Its 50th birthday! The Federal Aid Highway act was signed by President Eisenhower on June 29th, 1956.

    The Dwight D. Eisenhower National System of Interstate and Defense Highways, commonly called the Interstate Highway System, is a network of freeways in the United States.
