     HTC Titan Camera
Moving to the next after iPhone 1
One of the cool new things about my HTC Titan is the camera. There is a special button on the lower right side that is perfectly positioned for right index finger shutter operation. There is a saying attributed to Chase Jarvis, "The best camera is the one that is with you."

Here is an on line comparison Comparing Cameras: HTC Titan vs iPhone 4S

My personal experience is that the instant on button is extremely convenient, and is a BIG selling point. This is bigger than cover flow on the iPhone iTunes which wowed me three years ago. I take way more pictures with my mobile phone than I play songs. It is nice to have a high quality camera with me at all times. Many of our family events have been recorded on the iPhone. I am glad I have them, but many are dark and fuzzy. And all are lower resolution than my hand held camera.

The HTC Titan also seems to function in areas of low ambient light and is able to take good pictures. I took a picture outside in very low winter light of an antique Caterpillar tractor, and was surprised to see in the viewfinder a brighter picture than my eyes saw. Although this may not seem realistic, I find this to be a very useful feature. As I have lost hundreds of scenes to inadequate focal settings.

    Great job HTC!
