TV Cream - Top 100 toys
Description: (With a UK flavour) We polled TV Cream's readership to find the most well-remembered - for better or worse - toys that turned up in the stockings of yesteryear, from the tiniest fifty [pence] rubber novelty to the many bulky Bakelite candidates for that hallowed "main present" status. Quite often the little things, mainly through having lower expectations to live up to, went down better than the battery-hungry robo-gun-battleship thing mouldering in its box in the airing cupboard by Boxing Day. Anyway, enough of all this - it's now 6.30AM, and we've just been told by hungover parents that we can go downstairs and start sorting out the presents into piles. Let the blizzard of Mr Men wrapping paper commence... ... (Zoids were there, Legos were conspicuously absent. And did I miss Matchbox cars?)

Matchbox 1-75 - UK Matchbox Superfast 1-75 Miniatures from 1969 to date.
Description: The aim of this site is to provide a point of resource and information for the Superfast range of Matchbox miniatures from 1969 to date that have been released in the UK. (There are pictures of 1-75 range of models from 1969 to the present)
Within the site there will be sections detailing the model range by year, as well as the types of boxes that have been introduced over the years, as well as the types of wheels.
Wherever possible, I will look to add information on World variations, though it must be said that the focus will be predominately on the UK. Over time, more sections will be added – at the moment the webmaster has no idea what they will be, but will think of summat.

While browsing through an antique/collectable store he saw a lot of cars for sale he had as a kid. He was temporarily lost in the store because he was having so many flashbacks of his childhood, playing with the cars, racing them down the track and my playroom floor. The purpose of this Showroom is to display some of his favorite diecast cars, trucks, race sets, accessories and catalogs. This Showroom is for everyone who enjoys collecting diecast toys.

Care Bears
Description: The Care Bears are a set of characters created by American Greetings in 1981 for use on greeting cards. The original artwork for the cards was painted by artist Elena Kucharik. In 1983, Kenner took the characters and made the first in a line of very successful teddy bears based on the Care Bears. Over 40 million units were sold between 1983 and 1987.
Each Care Bear comes in a different colour and with a specialized insignia on its belly: for example, "Bedtime Bear" is pastel blue and sports a sleepy-looking anthropomorphised crescent moon, and "Cheer Bear" is pink with a rainbow insignia. A spin-off collection of toys, the Care Bear Cousins, feature stuffed monkeys, lions, and other such animals in the same style as the teddy bears.

My Little Pony - Hasbro
Description: My Little Pony is a product line of colorful toy ponies marketed to young girls and is produced by Hasbro. The toys were first introduced in 1982, following the related "My Pretty Pony" toy which was introduced in 1981. They became enormously popular throughout that decade. The original toy line inspired several animated specials, an animated feature length movie, and two animated television series. Redesigned toys have been introduced to the market twice since then, one near the end of 1997 and again in mid-2003. Collectors refer to each line as a "generation."
