    Alien: Resurrection [17]

    Expectation Reviews
(AKA Alien 4) They're BACK! And so is Ripley. It is sad to see that Sigourney Weaver cannot seem to find any other roles out there. Hollywood needs more strong women roles. Maybe she is being punished for being up for two Academy Awards in the same year (Gorillas in the Mist and Working Girl). Whatever the reason, they should wake up and get her more parts.

I am not hot on this installment. I thought that 2 (Aliens) was the best sequel to a great movie you could ever get. (We can't count Star Wars, they are not sequels). And I thought that Ripley died in the 3rd film? Something about cloning, hence the title Alien: Resurection. Anyhow. Do go check it out. The Alien movies have a reputation to live up to and the movie "shouldn't" stink. But don't pay full price. And beware, It may not be a date flick either. [AB]
