Relic, The [19]

Everyone I knew who read the book was hopping with excitment when they heard that the movie was coming out. In all honesty, I haven't read the book. But I do like the premise. And in the hands of the right people, this could be one great thriller. Yea, it may just be an "Alien" Clone set on Earth. But what was Alien anyway? (IMHO it was a techno-ghost story. And not really that techno.)

The Relic has a good shot at being a great ghost story. The downside is that so many that have attempted to follow the Alien tradition have failed. I have high expectations for this film, just not sure if they will be met. Should be a good date flick, if your date likes horror movies. {AB}
