Replacement Killers, The [17]

Now that Jackie Chan is hot it's Yun-Fat Chow's turn. The second hardest working man in Hong Kong actions films, he has worked almost exlusively in the Asia Market. Although he has work with John Woo (who most recently directed Face/Off), Chow is making his American movie debute.

So with that out of the way, can you believe Mira Sorvino with a gun? Hmmm....The premise is great for those that will like a high (make that VERY HIGH) bullet content. A hit man does not kill, so must be "replaced". First to kill him gets to be the next hit man. Well, at least the rules are simple and fair.

I expect the standard gun toting, macho swaggering, toothpick chewing, Sorvino knee to the groin action. Not a lot of plot but enough explosions and bullets to make up for that. If you want a good buddy film, grab some beers, and a few buddys and go. Oh, and don't pay full price. {AB}
