Tomorrow Never Dies [6]

The James Bond Franchise continues to spew mediocrity since Connery hung up his Walther PPK for the last time (Never Say Never. Well he has so far.) First it was Timothy Dalton. Sucked. Now is Pierce Brosnan who should have taken over from Connery and Moore, but couldn't get out of his TV contract. (He's since gotten a better agent.) The last Brosnan Bond flick was mediocre, but better than Dalton. This will continue suckage factor at high levels. What has happend to the Bond Films? What has happened to the Bond Girls? (Granted, the slide happened on Moore's watch with Tanya Roberts, but still! Where is Ursula Andress' clones when you need them?) Don't get me wrong. I love James Bond. They just haven't pleased me over the past few years. I want to be wrong, but I just can't see it happening. Wait for the video, but do not pay new release rental rates. {AB}
