    Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban [24]

    Expectation Reviews
    The first two movie adaptations of the Harry Potter series were a big hit with me. I read the books after seeing the first movie. This means of course, I have read the book of this movie. The first two movies were fairly faithful adaptations of their respective books. I expect this movie to be close to the storyline as well.

    The cast matches the characters for me now. And I cannot imagine going forward after this movie without any of the cast from the first two movies. It remains to be seen how Michael Gambon will perform as Albus Dumbledore. He replaces the deceased Richard Harris, who performed admirably in the role. (I wonder what Richard Harris is thinking tonight....in CamELOT!) I am especially looking forward to seeing Robert Hardy have a larger part as Cornelius Fudge. Mr. Hardy is one of my all-time favorite character actors. He is well known in the U.K., but not so much in North America.

    The book takes a darker turn from the previous two. And we get to see Harry learn about his father and his father's times at Hogwarts. I am ready. See this movie in the theater. The matinee may be full, so full price is acceptable. You may have to juggle so that you can see it and then your wife (If you cannot get a babysitter) {BB}
