Seed of Chucky aka Child's Play 5 [5]

Expectation Reviews
Universal Studios are printing money by milking this series. It is the modern day comic book mini-series.

Chucky the killing doll was introduced to us in Child's Play in 1988. When serial killer Charles Lee Ray was mortally wounded in a police shoot-out, he uses a voodoo spell to transfer his soul into Chucky, a "Good Guys" doll. a young boy, Andy, received the doll as a birthday gift, and Chucky soon resumed his killing spree. However, Charles doesn't want to be trapped in the body of a doll forever.

In the fourth Child's play movie, Bride of Chucky, Chucky's one-time girlfriend, Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) tracks his remains down and resurrects the savage miniature psycho - only to end up the same way herself, trapped inside a doll. Together, they set out for New Jersey where Chucky's human remains were buried so that Chucky can retrieve an all-important amulet.

From The Trailers:
This fifth Chucky film introduces Glen (voiced by "The Lord of the Rings" star Billy Boyd), the orphan doll offspring of the irrepressible devilish-doll-come-to-life Chucky (again voiced by series star Brad Dourif) and his equally twisted bride Tiffany (again voiced by Jennifer Tilly). When production starts on a movie detailing the urban legend of his parents' lethal exploits, Glen heads for Hollywood where he brings his bloodthirsty parents back from the dead. The family dynamics are far from perfect as Chucky and Tiffany go Hollywood and get rolling on a new spree of murderous mayhem – much to gentle Glen’s horror. Chucky can't believe that his child doesn't want to walk in his murdering footsteps, and star-struck Tiffany can't believe that the movie will star her favorite actress, Jennifer Tilly (playing herself), who soon becomes an unwitting hostess to this new family in more ways than one...

Keep this thing away from me and the young children and let it play for the high school crowd or trashy rental viewers. Universal deserves all the money it can sucker out of those teenagers with twisted tastes. {BB}
