    Godzilla [25] -1998-

    Expectation Reviews
    O.K. the guys (Roland Emmerich, director/writer and Dean Devlin, writer) who brought you ID4 (and Stargate) are now bringing you Godzilla. I thought the hype for ID4 was bad. I've been seeing trailers for this movie since "last summer!" Yeah I really want to write in my planner a year in advance for a movie. The special effects are gonna blow ID4 out of the water. Hell, it is only two years old and all its effects are olde hat. We are in the golden age of special effects. Look what we can do now. Full time CG (computer generated) characters are just around the corner. (Rumor has it that the new Star Wars films will be chock full of CG characters.)

    The olde Godzilla plot is back, nuclear power awakes the towering monster. Can anyone stop him before he dsetroys Tokyo (oh, New York City in this go around. The monster must have been tired of being awakend in the Pacific by the Japanese all the time and moved to the Atlantic.)

    Needless to say Roland and Dean know how to ride a plot. This movie will rock. Go see it. {AB}
