Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back -Special Edition 1997- [29]

Again I must beg to differ with my esteemed colleagues. This movie works for me on so many levels that I must give it our highest rating. The clean-up work that went into making this movie so much better than the original was just fantastic. Yes, you can quibble about the abominable snow ape. But the scene finally has ugency to it. What really sent the movie over the top for me were the graphics changes at Bespin. Now the city REALLY looks like a city in the clouds. It shocked me to see our heros running through corridors with windows. I thought at first I was seeing new scenes. I still love the raw power of the Empire, to stay one step ahead, wreaking havoc and really setting up the final movie. This movie is a must see. {AB}
