X-Files [21]

Well, I hate to brag but I hit this movie right on the head. Go check out my expectation review from a few months back...I'll wait. (music interlude) Jump to Expectation

O.k. - for those that have seen it, was I right or what? Thank you. If you are not a fan of X-files or have not followed the show at all this is not the time to pick it up. Chris Carter did not lay enough ground work for those that don't watch the show to pick the story line up in mid-stream. Even those that are not full time watchers will have a hard time following the preceedings at first. But that's not so say you should not go. This is a well crafted movie. It moves well. Its well acted. (Hell it better be, the principles have had 5 years of practice.)

As I expected "Subterfuge, betrayal, suprise plot twists and a few dead bodies. I also fully expect that this conspiracy will NOT be solved, nor will we be any closer to solving it." And I was not disappointed. If the other parts of the X-Files shows were not so damn entertaining, this could be a great serial movie just dealing with the Elders and the great alien invasion/re-colonization conspiricy. If you are not a fan, rent a few of the videos, watch the movie and then watch the next season. You will not be disappointed. [AB]
