Loved it! I do not know why, after seeing all the other great movies from Pixar, that I keep thinking that the next one will be a dud.

They fill these movies with so many sight gags, it is hard to keep up. I am a sometimes NASCAR fan, but have not followed it much lately. Mostly, I watched it during the 1970s when the Chevy Monte Carlo ruled the track.

My favorite car, the 1967 Ford Fairlane 427 makes an appearance as the legendary Mario Andretti.

For the first time in a long long while, I purchased a soundtrack album. The opening theme from Cheryl Crow is great. I always have liked the Route 66 song, and there are two versions. Although John Mayer just cannot keep a clean tempo. The Rascal Flatts cover of Life is a Highway, originally by Tom Cochrane is a little better than the original. The topper is Sh boom by The Chords. It just fits the scene where all the neon is on in the town.

The Los Angeles Motor speedway clearly takes its design from the Coliseum and Rose Bowl. It looks like it also is in the Arroyo Seco.

Best Scene, Doc Hudson sporting his racing wheels tearing up the dirt track. HIGHLY Reccomend.
