Based on Star Wars episodes I, II and III! Strategize to gain control of the galaxy on the side of the Separatists or the Republic! Choose your allegiance, then play by either classic RISK rules or the Clone Wars variations!
How Cool is this? Hasbro has released Star Wars Risk: The Clone Wars Edition for RISK and Star Wars fans. We at Group29 list ourselves in both categories.
A year has passed since the start of the Clone Wars on Geonosis. The Galactic Republic has since become engulfed with all-out warfare against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The effects of this galaxy-wide struggle have been felt in every facet of the Republic. Take command of the Republic "Clone Trooper" Army or lead the Separatists in their universal conquest to topple the Old Republic as players wage war on numerous planetary battlegrounds in the galaxys most unforgettable conflict in this exciting RISK variant.
Specially sculpted characters include Obi Wan Kenobi, Senator Amidala, the Emperor and Darth Vader. Recommended for ages 10 and older.
Here are some reviews at the Board Game Geek. The word seems to be that it is more fun than the Lord Of The Rings RISK variation.

Star Wars 'Risk' Game Has a Twist
Promotes Teamwork, Altruism
April 27, 2005
Hasbro's new Star Wars Risk: The Clone Wars Edition board game was the subject of an article by Brendan I. Koerner in the Business section of last Sunday's New York Times. Unlike previous iterations of Risk where the object is total domination, the Star Wars version rewards virtue and altruism as well as aggression -- players can actually sacrifice themselves in hopes of providing an eventual victory for their side.
The new Star Wars Risk board game (srp $24.95), which has just been released to coincide with the May 19th opening of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, provided designers with some significant challenges since the movie ends with the destruction of the good guys (the Jedi Knights) and the triumph of the "Evil Empire." The designer's solution involved a revision of the gameplay in which certain cards (such as Jedi leader Mace Windu) give players the option to use an eight-sided die and hence role a higher score. Instead of conquering the 42 various portions of the earth depicted in the classic Risk game, players in the new Star Wars edition attempt to conquer the various planets and moons that play key roles in the George Lucas's Star Wars saga.
