Disclaimer: This is at your own risk. Group29.com, Group29 productions and the editors are not liable for golf cart accidents or damage. You are personally responsible if you are reading this far. Modifying you cart will probably get you removed from the course if you are caught. Be discreet. If you start to have problems, undo the change before you get back to the clubhouse.

    Four-Wheel Drive Fascination

I have a fascination with four-wheel drive vehicles since early childhood. The freedom to drive where there are no roads is appealing. From a very early age, I have been aware of the advantages of owning a 4 wheel X 4 powered truck. You can get out of snow and icy spots during the winter. Two wheel drive pickup trucks are notoriously light in the rear end and spin even on dry pavement. There is a backlash now with gas prices being high. Sport Utility vehicles seem to be a status symbol of the upper middle class and conspicuous consumption.

Transportation: Things that goI was recently in San Diego on Coranado Island. I happened to look across the bay to the 32nd street wharf and saw the U.S.S. Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6) a Wasp class light carrier/Amphibious assault ship in port. It was berthed next to a similar Amphibious assualt carrier, which I assumed to be the U.S.S. Boxer (LHD-4) but could also have been the Tarawa, Bellaeu Wood, or Peleliu, which are Tarawa class Amphibious assault ships that have San Diego as their home port.

Transportation: Things that goI grew up and learned to drive in Southern California. There you could be shot for ticking off someone sharing the road with you. In my opinion, despite the traffic, Southern Californians have Minnesotans beat for percentage of good drivers. It may be an 80-20 rule everywhere, or perhaps a situation with a few bad apples spoiling it for the rest of us.

During rush hour before and after work, most traffic flows smoothly. I believ that it is because you have experienced drivers on their regular routes. They understand the typical flow of traffic. But outside these hours, very strange things happen in Minnesota. In this article are some things I have observed.

Transportation: Things that goThe Ford muscle cars from the 1960s are fascinating. Big powerful race car engines were dropped into the family sedans and coupes to make stealth drag racers that prowled the parking lots and freeways. Ford is attempting to recapture the interest in those cars with introducing the 427 Concept Car

Another article from Ford media talks about the Shelby Cobra concept car. Bill Cosby did a comedy routine about the special Shelby Cobra built for him, appropriately titled "200 M.P.H."
