Say you are building a Microsoft Powerpoint presentation, and you want a particular song to go with it.
For example, you might have Windows Media player 8.0 on a Windows XP system. Put the CD in the drive and select Copy From CD on the side panel. Check the file you want to extract and click on the copy music button (upper right)
If you check in Tools & Options – Copy music, you will see the directory where the file ends up. For Example:
C:\Documents and Settings\(your name)\My Documents\My Music
So my file ended up in the subdirectory: “Todd Rundgren\Nearly Human” as “01 The Want of a Nail.wma”. With Powerpoint XP, you can insert this music file to play on the page.
